Camp Rescue trainees participated in a night-setting MCI drill, where they practiced their newfound lifesaving skills in this realistic scenario setting.
SiMedic Trauma had fifteen casualties set up with special effects, moulage and dynamic patient response instructions within twenty minutes.
The participants, teens from overseas who are participating in this unique program brought by United Hatzalah and NCSY, practiced initial triage and first aid in a high-fidelity setting.
SiMedic's realistic wounds connected to our portable active bleeding systems allowed for hemorrhage control using direct pressure, tourniquets and wound-packing as appropriate in each situation. Other simulated injuries, such as a stab wound with an embedded knife, presented the caregivers with challenges during care and evacuation.
