UNTSO Jerusalem headquarters, Monday, October 29: SiMedic Trauma provided hands-on emergency skills training for close to 100 UNTSO staff members with special training stations for a variety of medical emergencies.
SiMedic simulation props, especially designed task-trainers, specialized anatomical hemorrhage suit worn by an actor and more made the experience extremely realistic, fun and interesting. SiMedic's paramedic instructors lead the participants through the learning process that began with basic techniques and continued with simulating real-life scenarios in which the participants practiced putting their newly learned skills into use in lifelike settings.
This has been our first project providing training to non-medical learners and we look forward to continue to provide lifesaving skills training that is fun, interesting and effective.
